FLL

fllFLL is a robotics program for 9 to 14 year olds designed to get children excited about science and technology. FLL can be used in a classroom setting but is not solely designed for this purpose. Teams, composed of up to ten children with at least one adult coach, can also be associated with a pre-existing club or organization, homeschooled, or just be a group of friends who wish to do something awesome.

FLL is a way that Team 610 reaches out to younger students at our school. We have been running the program since 2003. We use FLL as a medium to introduce students to the fundamentals of FIRST and the world of robotics. We organize and host a student run FLL regional competition in which over 20 teams compete. We facilitate Robot Sumo competitions for younger students in grades 3-6. Many of our current team members share fond memories of their time with FLL, and we encourage those who are interested in robotics to start there.
